The partnership between InstaSpot and hockey club HKM Zvolen has been officially extended for the 2026/2027 season. This agreement marks a new stage in the history of cooperation that began back in 2012 and now spans 15 years.
Under the renewed contract, InstaSpot retains its status as the club's official partner. The company's logo will continue to adorn the ice arena and the team's uniforms, while Peter Jandura, the broker's representative in Slovakia, will continue to attend matches in Zvolen in person and support the team from the stands.
The new Tipsport Liga season for Zvolen kicks off on September 15, 2026. In the opening round, the team will play an away match against Banská Bystrica, launching their campaign for championship points.
Meanwhile, Zvolen is actively preparing for the season under head coach Marek Zadina. Preparations are proceeding as scheduled—all players are healthy and fit, and the team is training injury-free.
Changes have also affected the coaching staff. Former Latvian national team player Jānis Andersons has joined the staff, while Jozef Budaj is currently combining his club duties with responsibilities for the Slovak U18 national team.
The roster is also being gradually finalized. Goaltender Lukáš Klimeš and defenseman Gianni Fairbrother have already joined training, with forwards Brooklyn Kalmikov, Sean Josling, and center Cole Cassels expected to arrive in the coming days.
Ahead for Zvolen are fitness testing for players and their first home preseason exhibition game against Czech club Berani Zlín.
