ECB 維持三大關鍵利率不變：存款利率為 2.25%，主要再融資利率為 2.40%，邊際借貸利率為 2.65%，此前在 6 月已上調 25 個基點。
在貨幣政策聲明中，管委會重申致力於將通膨穩定在中期 2% 的目標水準。然而，聲明同時指出，目前不確定性依然高企，近期能源衝擊的完整影響尚未完全顯現。
ECB 表示，正密切關注此次衝擊的強度與持續時間，以及任何間接與次級效應，並確認未來利率決策將取決於對通膨前景及相關風險的評估。
聲明發布後，ECB 總裁 Christine Lagarde 表示，能源部門的通膨可能會讓整體通膨在 2027 年上半年之前明顯高於 ECB 的目標水準，其後才預期會出現回落。她指出，「成長面臨的風險偏向下行」，而「通膨面臨的風險則偏向上行」，並補充說，中東的衝突是「主要的不確定性來源」。

從技術面來看，震盪指標呈現負面，確認了空方在市場中的優勢。多頭首先需要收復 20 日 SMA，才能為後續上行累積一些動能。
