Bitcoin once again failed to hold above $71,000, dropping back to $70,000. Ethereum remains above $2,000, but the risk of a larger drop persists.

Meanwhile, Ripple continues its expansion, announcing plans to acquire BC Payments, which will allow it to obtain a license for providing financial services in Australia, while Goldman Sachs may become the largest holder of shares in spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on XRP.

According to a published study, the 30 largest holders of spot ETFs on XRP owned shares worth approximately $211 million by the end of 2025. In a separate report, it was noted that by the end of the year, the total influx of funds into these funds exceeded $1 billion. Of the $211 million, the largest investor was Goldman Sachs, holding ETF XRP shares worth nearly $154 million.

However, it is far from certain that the bank acquired XRP on its own balance sheet. Most likely, this is related to the large number of devoted XRP fans and their purchases.

As for the intraday strategy in the cryptocurrency market, I will continue to rely on any significant pullbacks of Bitcoin and Ethereum, anticipating the continuation of the bull market in the long term, which has not gone away.

Scenario #1: I will buy Bitcoin today when the price reaches the entry point around $70,000, targeting a move to $70,700. Around $70,700, I plan to exit the buys and sell immediately on the rebound. Before buying on a breakout, ensure the 50-day moving average is below the current price and the Awesome indicator is above zero.

Scenario #2: I can buy Bitcoin from the lower boundary of $69,300 if there is no market reaction to its breakout back to levels $70,000 and $70,700.

Sell Scenario

Scenario #1: I will sell Bitcoin today upon reaching the entry point around $69,300, targeting a drop to $68,400. Around $68,400, I plan to exit the sales and buy immediately on the rebound. Before selling on a breakout, ensure the 50-day moving average is above the current price and the Awesome indicator is in the negative zone.

Scenario #2: I can sell Bitcoin from the upper boundary of $70,000 if there is no market reaction to its breakout back to levels $69,300 and $68,400.

Ethereum

Buy Scenario

Scenario #1: I will buy Ethereum today when the price reaches the entry point around $2,023, targeting a move to $2,038. Around $2,038, I plan to exit the buys and sell immediately on the rebound. Before buying on a breakout, ensure the 50-day moving average is below the current price and the Awesome indicator is above zero.

Scenario #2: I can buy Ethereum from the lower boundary of $2,005 if there is no market reaction to its breakout back to levels $2,023 and $2,038.

Sell Scenario

Scenario #1: I will sell Ethereum today upon reaching the entry point around $2,005, targeting a drop to $1,981. Around $1,981, I plan to exit the sales and buy immediately on the rebound. Before selling on a breakout, ensure the 50-day moving average is above the current price and the Awesome indicator is in the negative zone.
