The BTC/USD extended its growth after trying to retest the broken resistance levels. You knew from my previous analysis that the price of bitcoin could climb towards 24,280. It has increased by 16.50% from Tuesday's low of 20,700 to 24,114 today's high.
In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin is up by 8.48% and by 3.79% in the last 7 days. As you already know, BTC/USD's rally helped the altcoins to grow as well.
BTC/USD failed to retest the weekly pivot point of 22,544 signaling strong buyers and a potential upside continuation. Now, it was almost to reach the 24,280 level which represents an upside obstacle.
It remain to see how it will react to this resistance, the buyers could be exhausted after the current rally. Technically, the bias remains bullish after failing to retest the uptrend line and after escaping from the down-channel pattern.
A new higher high activates further growth and could help the buyers to jump in again. The 25,401 key level is seen as the first upside target.
