United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) was founded in 1907 in Seattle, Washington. Its employees carried out various tasks, that is odd jobs from different clients or home delivery of purchases from pharmacies.

Today UPS is one of the world's leading delivery companies. The company delivers on average more than 17 million packages per day and provides services in more than 200 countries and territories all around the world. In 2016, they delivered 4.9 billion packages. The total income in 2016 was estimated at $60.9 billion. UPS is a global logistics company that provides such services as transportation, distribution, contract logistics operations, land transportation, shippings, air transportation, customs management services, and insurance.

The company has its own airline, UPS Airlines, and one of the largest fleets in the world with 237 planes. According to Zacks Investment Research, the company's stocks grew faster than the transport sector itself in 2016. The value of UPS stocks rose from $96,23 at the beginning of the year to $116,4 at the end of the year, and that is 17.33% growth.
