He compiled an outstanding junior career by winning the 2001 Australian Open junior tournament. However, unlike many promising young players, who have never shined on a pro stage, Tipsarević has achieved amazing senior tennis success.
The tennis player helped his country win the Davis Cup. He also won the ATP tennis tournament in Stuttgart, Kuala Lumpur and Moscow (the Kremlin Cup).
Tipsarević beat former world No.1 tennis players Carlos Moyá, Marat Safin, Lleyton Hewitt, Juan Carlos Ferrero and Andy Roddick.
