Information about a supposed attack on an American warship in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as reports of shelling of UAE territory, cannot fail to cause serious alarm. These events have already put pressure on the euro, potentially escalating tensions. The situation requires a careful approach from all participants. Diplomatic efforts should focus on de-escalation and preventing further exacerbation; however, if this does not happen, the pressure on risk assets will only increase.

Today, there are no important fundamental data from the Eurozone in the first half of the day, so all traders' attention will be on the meeting of the EU finance ministers and the speech by European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde. Special attention will be given to any hints regarding interest rate changes. Against the backdrop of rising inflation, the markets expect the ECB to be forced to return to tightening monetary policy. However, the impending recession in some Eurozone countries may require the central bank to act more cautiously to avoid worsening the economic downturn. Such a dilemma places Lagarde in a difficult position, balancing price stability with financial support for the economy.

Scenár č. 1: dnes plánujem kúpiť euro, keď dosiahne oblasť úrovne 1,1695 (zelená čiara na grafe), pričom očakávam, že vzrastie na úroveň 1,1721. Na tejto úrovni zatvorím nákupné pozície a otvorím predajné pozície v opačnom smere, pričom počítam s pohybom vo veľkosti 30 ‒ 35 bodov od bodu vstupu na trh. Dnes môžeme očakávať rast eura iba v prípade, že budú zverejnené pozitívne správy. Dôležité! Pred nákupom sa uistite, že indikátor MACD je nad nulovou hodnotou a práve z nej začína rásť.

Scenár č. 2: nákup eura dnes plánujem aj v prípade, že cena dvakrát po sebe otestuje úroveň 1,1677, keď bude indikátor MACD v prepredanej oblasti. To obmedzí potenciál páru klesať a povedie k obratu trhu smerom nahor. Môžeme očakávať rast k úrovniam 1,1695 a 1,1721.

Scenár č. 1: dnes plánujem predať euro, keď dosiahne úroveň 1,1677 (červená čiara na grafe). Cieľ bude na úrovni 1,1646, kde ukončím predaj, a okamžite otvorím nákupné pozície v opačnom smere (očakávam pohyb vo veľkosti 20 ‒ 25 pipov v opačnom smere od tejto úrovne). Tlak na pár sa dnes môže obnoviť v ktorúkoľvek chvíľu. Dôležité! Pred predajom sa uistite, že indikátor MACD sa nachádza pod nulovou hodnotou a práve od nej začína klesať.

Scenár č. 2: dnes plánujem predať euro aj v prípade, že cena dvakrát po sebe otestuje úroveň 1,1695, keď bude indikátor MACD v prekúpenej oblasti. To obmedzí potenciál páru klesať a povedie k obratu trhu smerom nadol. Môžeme očakávať pokles k úrovniam 1,1677 a 1,1646.

• MACD indicator. When entering the market, it is important to be guided by overbought and oversold zones.
